Knight of Cups Movie

Director Terrence Malick (the man behind The Tree of Life) is currently working on Knight of Cups, an upcoming drama movie based on a script he wrote. The film is starring Christian Bale, Natalie Portman, Cate Blanchett and Isabel Lucas. The story revolves around a man who is in search of love and truth. The film should be released in theaters sometime in 2013.

There's no official plot synopsis yet, so we're left to speculate. Does the movie title refer to the Tarot card? In the world of tarot divination, the Knight of Cups may have two meanings:

- If the card is upright, it represents change and new excitements, particularly of a romantic nature.It represents a person who is amiable, intelligent, and full of high principles, but a dreamer who can be easily persuaded or discouraged.

- Reversed, the card represents unreliability and recklessness. It indicates fraud, false promises and trickery. It represents a person who has trouble discerning when and where the truth ends and lies begin.
